The IE 800 S redefines the benchmark for distortion-free in ear performance. Sennheiser’s Extra Wide Band (XWB) proprietary transducers deliver an exceptionally detailed, lifelike sound image, with brilliant trebles and a precise and newly improved bass sound. The IE 800 S employs Sennheiser’s patented dual-chamber absorber (D2CA) system, which removes undesired resonances that can obscure the finest nuances of sound. The resulting high end listening experience is further enhanced by a choice of cables with 4 pole 4.4mm Pentaconn and 2.5mm balanced connectors, in addition to the standard cable with a 3.5mm jack.
