Fully Functional Means:
- Headphones are able to power on, charge, and are able to hold charge (LED comes on when charging).
- Original charging case is included and is in good working condition i.e. charges both In-ears, hinge opens and close cleanly, no corrosion on the connectors, and pairs with the headphones).
Are your headphones in good physical condition?
Good Physical Condition Means:
- The headphones are not cracked, chipped, smashed, and the casing is not cracked.
- The headphones do not have heavy wear (light wear can be accepted).
- The original headphones charging case is not physically damaged, including no frame cracks.
- No corrosion or water damage.

- We'll grab your contact details and address and share with our partner, Moorup, to start the return set up for your trade-in headphones.

- Once Moorup receives your headphones, and validates the condition and your identity, we will issue the refund to the same payment method as this transaction. How Moorup handles your personal data can be found here.

Prepare my Headphones
Prepare to return your headphones.
The final step is to prepare your headphones for returning to Moorup.
Return your headphones at local post office
Once submitted, we'll email you a barcode you can take to any Australia Post location to return your headphones. All postage costs are covered by Moorup.
Disable Activation or Device Lock.
Before returning your headphones, all activation and headphones locks must be disabled. If a returned headphones is still locked, it will be assessed with a trade-in value of $0.

You'll receive an email with the next steps. We'll need to verify your identity and once complete you'll receive pre-paid return postage details. Then it's time to drop that old pair of headphones off to Australia Post.

Until now, the audiophile headphone experience could only begin with Sennheiser’s open back design—a design that paved the way for an entire class of precision listening devices. This standard of sound reproduction would go on to surpass hi-fi systems exponentially larger in size and cost with the understanding that listeners would not be isolated from their surroundings. The HD 820 sacrifices neither detail nor sound field thanks to its innovative acoustical systems in a closed, dynamic headphone.

Fellowship of the Ring
An achievement in its own right, the 56mm ring radiator found in the HD 820 leverages the key benefit of a large diaphragm transducer—air displacement—without losing the rigidity that favorably impacts rest and response times.
Instead of a single attachment on the outer circumference of the transducer, both outer and inner edges of the 'ring' are secured to the drive unit. The voice coil vibrates the diaphragm, connected to the V-shaped groove found near the center of the ring. The headphone’s vibration-damping chassis and inert headband insert provide complete stability, resulting in astonishing speed and accuracy throughout the entire frequency spectrum. What you put into the HD 820 is precisely what you will get out of it, too. Each transducer is manufactured, tested, and measured to an extremely tight tolerance to ensure the most dependable performance out of the box.

The ¼-inch / 6.3mm stereo connector offers the audiophile-standard plug for connection to devices such as headphone amplifiers, DACs, and A/V receivers. A balanced 4.4mm connector opens a pathway to a newer generation of balanced output devices (headphone amplifiers, digital audio players, etc.) that embrace this compact plug’s superior stability over time. An optional XLR-4 balanced cable is available, providing yet another popular connection to a wide range of audio components.
